One Small Delay – Splashdown is Now Monday 20th Oct

The council have yet again had to delay the opening of the pool due to unforeseen issues. As per information we received today (14th Oct) directly from council management, our NEW much anticipated start to the 2014/2015 swim season is now Monday the 20th in our normal slots – 18:00 for the Junior Squad and 19:00 for the Senior Squad.

As mentioned in the previous post, we are currently working on a plan that will allow us to reclaim the pool time we have missed by scheduling additional sessions. Further information about this will be available over the next few weeks and will be posted to the web site as soon as is known.

We would like to thank all parents, swimmers and all involved in the club who have been inconvenienced by the late opening of the pool for their patience.

See you soon

Friday 17th October – Time to Make a Splash

Sessions Starting on Friday 17th October

The much anticipated start to the 2014/2015 swim season is upon us with the pool scheduled to re-open on Thursday 16th October. That puts us straight into our first sessions on Friday the 17th in our normal slots – 18:00 for the Junior Squad and 19:00 for the Senior Squad.

As everyone is probably aware,  the committee did their best to interpret the limited information which was available in the public domain with regards to when the pool may actually open. This information had suggested that we would be in a position to get back swimming during September, however all circumstances surrounding the pool opening are completely outside our control.

Now that we have an active start date we can regain control of our schedules. With this in mind, we are currently working on a plan that will allow us to reclaim the pool time we have missed by scheduling additional sessions. Further information about this will be available over the next few weeks and will be posted to the web site as soon as is known.

We would like to thank all parents, swimmers and all involved in the club who have been inconvenienced by the late opening of the pool for their patience.

So let’s get going. Remember things turn out best for those who make the best of the way things turn out.

See you all on Friday 17th!!!
