Swim Ireland Tipperary Training Program

As part of the Munster Swimming vision for developing Irish swimming and creating a high performance swimming culture in Ireland, we would like to propose a Tipperary Training Programme.

The Swim Ireland Performance Centre at the University of Limerick goal is to support athletes to fulfil their potential in international competition. The Performance Centre is designed to raise the level of training opportunities for Irish swimmers and to provide the structures and programmes to allow our top swimmers achieve success at the European, World and Olympic level while based in Ireland.

Anti-Bullying Workshop

Swim Ireland are running two Anti-Bullying Workshop in the Munster region:

Munster Monday 29th September 6.30pm – 9.30pm The Pavilion, UL, Limerick
Munster Tuesday 4th November 6.30pm – 9.30pm Hibernian Hotel, Mallow

This Anti-Bullying workshop is being delivered by Patricia Kennedy from Sticks and Stones (you can view their work on their website

Who should attend?

The workshop will be interactive and is a must for Children’s Officers, Coaches, Teachers, Team Managers and other roles who have direct interaction with young people in the Club.  It will also be useful for committee members to understand the importance of our Anti-Bullying programme within the Club structure.

The workshops are free of charge and limited to 25 people per workshop so you will need to book early to guarantee your place. Further information and booking details are available here

Optional CPD points will be given,3 points will be awarded for attendance; can be used for licensing purposes (€5 admin fee – payable on the night)
