Nenagh Neptue Swim Club 2014 / 2015 Season Kickoff

That time of year has come around again and the Nenagh Neptune Swim Club 2014/15 season is about to kick off. With the opening of the newly renovated Nenagh Leisure Centre imminent, we are looking forward to getting back to our normal swimming schedule after the demanding and challenging season last year which saw us travelling to neighbouring facilities in Roscrea and Limerick to maintain swimmers pool time during the closure of the leisure centre.

We will be running an introduction night which will take placed in the Abbey Court hotel on Wednesday evening the 17th of September starting at 19:00. All parents of existing swimmers should attend this session as it is great time to hear about what’s new and to find out the plans for the new season. We would similarly like to extend an invitation to parents of any intending swimmers to attend the introductory night.  We will also be introducing the new Members Handbook on the night which is full of useful information.

Registration of existing members for the 2014/2015 season will take place immediately after the introduction. Please download and complete the Returning Members Form from the website (www.nenaghswimclub.com) and bring it with you on the night.

For intending members, please download and complete the Info For Intending New Members details from the website and email back to NNSCSecretary@gmail.com. You can also hand this in at the introduction night if you wish. This form can also be used by lapsed members who are intending on returning this season. Information regarding dates for trials for new/lapsed members will be available on the night.

As you are probably aware, we are starting the season about two weeks later than normal to make sure that the newly renovated pool will be open and available for us to start sessions on the week commencing Monday 22nd September. The actual start night will be officially announced at the introductory evening on the 17th (and possibly before that on our website once details become available). But don’t fear, any time lost will be made up during the course of the swim season.

We look forward to meeting you all on the 17th!
